Frequently asked questions

My dog is afraid of nail clippers; is this different?
The grinder does not cut: it files the nail down bit by bit. Start by turning it on near your dog without touching their paws, then reward them. A few seconds per paw is enough at the beginning.

How often should I use it?
Generally every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the growth rate and natural wear of the claws.

Is it suitable for cats?
Yes, using the small opening. Go very gradually.

What if I see pink in the claw?
That is the quick (living tissue): stop before you reach it. If in doubt, ask your veterinarian or a groomer for advice.

How long does the battery last?
It recharges via USB cable. Fully charge it before the first use.
